ORIGINAL PLAYS BY PHYLLIS ZATLIN
The following plays were
written in 2016, 2020, and 2021. They benefited from insights gained from readings by a
playwrights’ collective in Door County, WI and are listed on New Play Exchange
(NPX).
Selling a House may be performed as a full production or the
individual acts may be performed separately. Doubling is encouraged for the
opening act because of the large cast.
The two one-act plays about
blended marriages include music.
The Salesman and the Priest and What Could Go Wrong include roles
for children.
Online Meetings has an
all-female cast. It was originally written as a much shorter play and later expanded
to typical one-act length.
Love in the Time of Carry-Out
Groceries and Her Favorite Grandson
are ten-minute plays.
